Blog Entry: Blog. About 40 neighbours and thier children along with friends living in our small 'close' enjoyed the Eden Project Big Lunch today. Despite ominous clouds and strongs winds, gazebos and barbecues appeared, people emerged from their homes laden with chairs, tables, food, drinks and childrens' play toys, bunting and balloons were displayed, everyone got involved in the preparations and we enjoyed three hours of being neighbourly along with thousands of others around the country. New residents were made welcome and plans were laid for autumnal, Christmas & New Year events with willing volunteers to organise them. Thank you Eden Project! I might be widowed and living alone but I know I'm surrounded by caring people who are enthusiastic about developing our four year old community. Jacquie Clarke
