Blog Entry: Blog. Breakthrough! I've spent the whole weekend contentedly alone, happily engaged in shopping for special occasion cards and gifts, selective TV viewing and writing two film scripts. Two 'phone calls momentarily broke the solitariness and it would have been pleasant to see a friendly face - but - it was a productive weekend and the time passed smoothly & effortlessly. This represents a new stage in coming to terms with living alone but it's taken five and a half years to reach. Acceptance, new and absorbing interests, planning, focus, a new self-reliance, choice and being happy in my own company all played a part. Jacquie Clarke
