Blog Entry: Blog. A belated birthday gift today - a portrait sitting with the professional photographer husband of my dear friend Liz. I spent ages deciding what to wear - nothing seemed quite right, but I'm more than happy with the results. Not only do I have a great solo portrait but also another very special one taken with Liz and done especially for a joint venture we're embarking on. When I compare these photos with family ones that were taken five years ago shortly after the death of my husband, it's like looking at two different people. Stresses and strains really do add years to the face but time can help erase them too. Jacquie Clarke
