Old Posts Widowhood and Nausea
A normally healthy and resilient seventy three year old lady, widowed (for the second time) twenty months ago, has in the last two months developed what she can only describe as 'nausea' although she never vomits. The nausea is apparent when she wakes every day and usually disappears with or without medication, by early afternoon. Her doctor has given her anti nausea tablets and anti-depressant tablets. The condition occurs regardless of anticipated pleasure or otherwise of planned activities. The lady (with professional medical background), has come to the conclusion that it has to have a psychlogical basis but is totally unable to fathom what's at the bottom of it and can't understand why it should come and go so regularly.

If anyone has had a similar experience and found a solution, it would be great to hear about it.
Jacquie
